Here are the different types of tests we offer to detect COVID-19
Antigent test
- This test is given with a nasal swab to take a nasopharyngeal sample.
- It is a rapid test of about 10 seconds, that can cause discomfort to some people more than others.
- This test is recommended for patients who believe they have been infected 3 days ago or with mild or strong symptoms from the second day.
Result delivery time: approximately 1 hour.
PCR Test - IgG - IgM antibodies
Real-time PCR test, it is considered the confirmatory test for Coronavirus (COVID-19). This test is recommended for patients who believe they have been infected for more than 4 days or when they have mild or severe symptoms from the first day.
Result delivery time: approximately 12 hours.
Antibody Serology Testing
- This blood test shows if you have or had the virus.
- It is recommended for patients who believe they have been infected for more than 11 days or when they have mild or severe symptoms from the sixth day.
Result delivery time: approximately 1 hour.
